At AstraZeneca I was Director of AI diagnostics, then Director of Digital health strategy. Before that I co-founded VUI Diagnostics to build ViewEye, a retinal screening camera, after training as a doctor at Imperial. I am now finishing an MBA at Imperial.
Outside work I build side projects like Retinue and Strata, and I write about what I learn, including how to bring AI into regulated industries like healthcare.

Retinue
Retinue listens to a meeting in real time. It checks each claim that a person makes. It records each decision during the meeting.

Strata
Strata finds clinical trials, extracts the data and combines the results into one estimate (a meta-analysis). It updates the estimate when a new trial has results.
EvalRouter
EvalRouter helps an AI coding agent select a model for one AI feature in an app. It uses the code in the repository to write draft evals (tests). It runs the evals on each model and recommends one model. It can also send a signed configuration to the live app through an SDK or a proxy.
Second Line
Second Line protects against voice phishing (vishing). It listens to a live phone call and compares what the caller says with a list of social-engineering signs. It does not analyse the voice, and it does not stop the call. When the risk is high, it sends a message to the real person that the caller claims to be.
Precedent
Precedent helps medical device teams learn from devices that the FDA has already cleared or approved. For each device type, it shows clearance rates and review times. For each 510(k), it traces the chain of predicate devices. It uses AI to read the FDA summary documents (SSEDs) and extract what each approval needed: bench tests, clinical study design, labelling and special controls. A team can then plan its own submission from this evidence.
El Semillero
El Semillero is an interactive map of the managed coastal fishing areas (AMERBs) in Chile. The map is in English and Spanish. Users can filter the areas by species. They can also see 30 years of heavy-metal data from monitoring stations. An Imperial MBA team made the map to support the marine conservation work of Capital Azul.
